From someone whose been there done that I wouldn't look to that mature that much till about year 2.

As for the other stuff I think there has been a paradigm shift and not to many people actually think that way about college anymore.

Nice sentiments, but I look forward to three months' time when you'll cringe at how idealistic you were.

University is as much as about partying as it is about growing up.

Learning something along the way is merely a bonus.
